Ground Mapping
1.
Press the MODE softkey.
Press the GROUND softkey to place the radar

in Ground Map mode.
3.
Press the BACK softkey.
4.
Press the FMS knob to activate the cursor.
Turn the large FMS knob to place the cursor in

the Tilt field.
6.
Adjust the antenna tilt angle by turning the
small FMS knob to position the ground returns
as desired.
7.
Press the FMS knob to remove the cursor.
Sector Scan
1.
Press the FMS knob to activate the cursor.
Turn the large FMS knob to place the cursor in
2.
the BEARING field.
If the Bearing Line is not displayed, press the
MENU key and turn the large FMS knob to select
'Show Bearing Line'. Press the ENT key.
OR: Press the BRG softkey to enable the Bearing
Line.
Turn the small FMS knob to place the Bearing
3.
Line in the desired position. The location of
the Bearing Line will become the center point
of the Sector Scan.

Turn the large FMS knob to place the cursor in
the SECTOR SCAN field.
Turn the small FMS knob to select FULL, 60˚,

40˚, or 20˚ scan.
6.
If desired, readjust the Bearing Line as
discussed previously to change the center of
the Sector Scan.
7.
Press the FMS knob to remove the cursor.
