By default, the MST region name of a device is its MAC address.
The MST region name, the VLAN-to-instance mapping table, and the MSTP revision level of a
device determine the device's MST region.
After configuring this command, run the active region-configuration command to activate the
configured MST region name.

reset stp [ interface interface-list ]

Parameters
interface interface-list: Clears the MSTP statistics of the ports specified in the format of interface-list
= { interface-type interface-number [ to interface-type interface-number ] }&<1-10>, where &<1-10>
indicates that you can specify up to 10 ports or port ranges.
Description
Use reset stp to clear the MSTP statistics.
The MSTP statistics include the numbers of TCN BPDUs, configuration BPDUs, RST BPDUs and
MST BPDUs sent/received through the specified ports. The STP BPDUs and TCN BPDUs are
counted only for the CIST.
If you specify the interface-list argument, the reset stp command clears the spanning tree-related
statistics on the specified ports. Without the argument, the reset stp command clears the spanning
tree-related statistics on all ports.

# Clear the spanning tree-related statistics on ports Ethernet 1/0/1 through Ethernet 1/0/3.
