1. On the menu bar, select Printer / Create / PSF– TCP/IP to start the Create Printer Wizard.
2. Provide the worksheet information to the wizard. For assistance, refer to the InfoPrint
Manager Administration GUI online help.
3. If you did not enable the printer with the Create Printer Wizard, use the InfoPrint
Manager Administration GUI to enable it.

Adding an AIX Printer

Create an AIX printer to represent a printer that will accept the data stream that comes out of the printer
driver without transforming it. For example, to send the output of a PostScript driver to a PostScript
printer.
Before adding an AIX printer, complete the following worksheet:

This name is case-sensitive.
Description
The name for the actual
destination object (8 character
limit).
This name is case-sensitive.
The server that controls this
actual destination. The server
name is the same as the name
of the host system where the
server is installed.

Select the printer model from the
pull-down list in the InfoPrint
Manager Administration GUI. If
the printer you are working with
is not in the pull-down list, enter
the name as it appears on the
printer.
