MISC mode
UP TO SEQUENCE END .......... The duration will automatically be adjusted so that
AS RECORDED......................... The note events will be recorded just as you play them.
C Active track receive channel field
Selects the MIDI channel(s) that the MPC4000 will receive; either ALL (all MIDI chan-
nels) or a specific channel 1–16. If you select a specific MIDI channel, incoming MIDI
events on other channels will be ignored.
D Sequence change with Pgm change field
Selects whether program changes will be used to switch sequences. If this field is ON, an
incoming program change will select the sequence of the corresponding number.
E Tap averaging field
Specifies the number of [TAP TEMPO] key presses that will be used to calculate the
tempo. When you press the [TAP TEMPO] key the number of times you specify here, the
tempo will be automatically calculated from the average interval between each press.
F Send pad pressure as POLY PRESSURE message field
Specifies whether the force with which you press a pad will be transmitted as polyphonic
key pressure messages. If this field is set to YES, polyphonic key pressure messages will
be transmitted.
