Using the event list to edit a sequence

You can use the event list to edit MIDI events recorded in a sequence.
To access this page........[STEP EDIT] key
A Track block
B Now block
C Event list block
D View block
Functions
• [F1] key (OPTION)
Opens the Step Edit Option popup window, where you can make option settings for
step-recording.
• [F2] key (MOVE)
Moves the location of the selected MIDI event(s).
• [F3] key (COPY)
Copies the selected MIDI event(s). If you have selected multiple events, the Copy Data
popup window will appear.
• [F4] key (CUT)
Cuts the selected MIDI event(s). If you have selected multiple events, the Cut Data popup
window will appear.
• [F5] key (PASTE)/(EDIT)
Opens the Paste Data popup window, which lets you paste previously-saved MIDI events
from the clipboard or phrase library. If you have selected multiple MIDI events in the
event list, the function assigned to this key will change, and the Event Edit popup window
will appear.
• [F6] key (PLAY)/(INSERT)
Plays the selected region. During step-recording, the function assigned to this key will
change to INSERT, which inserts MIDI events.
Track block
Here you can select the track that you want to edit, and switch the tempo and timing cor-
rect settings.
Now block
This indicates the current location within the sequence.
