Sample mode
The Keep or Retry popup window will appear, allowing you to compare the original sam-
ple with the edited result, and keep the result or retry the operation.

Use the [F3] key (P
sample with the edited result.

If you are satisfied with the edited result, assign a new name to the sample as
necessary, and press either the [F2] key, [F5] key, or [F6] key to save the edited
data as a new sample.
However if you press the [F2] key (OVER WR), the new sample name will be ignored
and the edited data will be written over the original file.
List of editing commands
The following pages list the commands that you can select in the Sample Edit popup win-
dow, and explain the parameters of each command.
DISCARD
Deletes the portions of the sample other than the specified section.
A Section field
Selects the section of the sample that will be kept.
TRIM......................Between the start and end points
LOOP .....................Between the loop start and loop end points
REGION ................The region selected in the Region page
RE-SAMPLE
Modifies the sampling rate or bit depth.
A Sampling rate field
Specifies the sampling rate in a range of 4,000–96,000 Hz.
B Bit depth field
Specifies the quantization as 8, 12, 16, or 24 bits.
