Using the pads to switch sequences

You can play back sequences in succession while using the pads to switch sequences. If
you have divided a song into multiple sequences, you can "assemble" the song by striking
the pads to switch between sequences in realtime.
To access this page........[NEXT SEQUENCE] key
A Pad block
B Sequence block
C Now block
Functions
• [F3] key (SUDDEN)
If you press this key during playback, you will move immediately to the sequence shown
in the Next field.
• [F4] key (HOLD)
If you press this key during playback (the function name will be highlighted), the cur-
rently-playing sequence will be held, and pads will no longer be able to switch
sequences. Press the same key once again to defeat the Hold function.
• [F5] key (CLEAR)
Clears the sequence that is currently shown in the Next field.
Pad block
This area shows the sequences assigned to pads 1–16.
A BANK field
Shows the name of the currently selected pad bank. By using the PAD BANK [A]–[F]
keys to switch the pad bank, you can change the pad numbers that are shown here.
B Seq field
Shows the number and name of the sequence that is assigned to each pad. Each pad bank
key corresponds to the following sequence numbers.
PAD BANK [A] key ................... Sequences 1–16
PAD BANK [B] key.................... Sequences 17–32
PAD BANK [C] key.................... Sequences 33–48
PAD BANK [D] key ................... Sequences 49–64
