Fix the countershaft in the vise with the geared end facing downward.
Guideline
Use soft jaws
–
Remove stop disk and the 1st-gear idler gear

Remove collar bushing
–
Remove the 6th-gear sliding gear
–
Remove lock ring .

Remove stop disk .

Remove the 3rd-gear idler gear

Remove washer .
8

Remove the 4th-gear idler gear

Remove stop disk and lock ring

Remove lock ring .
