16.4.17 Checking the clutch (125 Duke)

Check bearing
for damage and wear.

If there is damage or wear:
Change the bearing.
Check the length of clutch springs
Clutch spring - length

If the clutch spring length is less than the specified value:
Change all clutch springs.
Check inner clutch hub
»
If there is damage or wear:
Change the inner clutch hub.
Check clutch pressure cap
»
If there is damage or wear:
Change the clutch pressure cap.
Check the contact surfaces of the clutch facing discs in the clutch basket
Contact surface, clutch facing discs in clutch basket

If the contact surface is very worn:
Change the clutch lining discs and the clutch basket.
Check clutch facing discs
»
If there is damage or wear:
Check the control piston bore in the oil pump housing
»
If there is damage or wear:
Thoroughly oil control piston
Mount washer
