2. Adjusting The Pressure Plate Position Switch

Purpose : To ensure that the pressure plate stops at the proper position.
Method : 1. Open the master eject unit and remove the front cover of the master eject
unit.
2. Turn the gear [A] and position the pressure plate [B] at the maximum
height.
3. Confirm that the distance between the switch [E] and lever [D] is 0.1 to
0.5 mm when the lever edge [D] is positioned in the ditch on the cam [C]
bottom.
Also, confirm that the switch turns off when the lever edge [D] is not posi-
tioned in the ditch on the cam [C] bottom.
4. If it is out of adjustment, loosen the screws [F] and adjust the mounting
position of the pressure plate position switch [E].
