3. Thermal Head : SS830
Do the following after the plotter unit, the cutter unit, and the platen roller unit
have been removed.

Note:
Remove the bottom plate of the unit (6 screws).
Unplug the 3 connectors [A].
Remove the 2 springs [B].
Remove the adjusting plate [C] (1 screw, 1 E-ring).
Remove the thermal head unit [D] (2 E-rings).
Remove the guide plate [E] (2 screws).
Disconnect the 5 connectors [F].
Remove the thermal head [G] (4 screws).
Remove the screw [H] (1 screw).
After replacement, ensure correct master feeding by following Adjusting
the Thermal Head: SS830 procedure.
