Move the scanner unit to the left.
Remove the front fluorescent lamp cover.
Disconnect the 4P heater connector [B].
Remove the front fluorescent lamp holder [A].
Carefully remove the fluorescent lamp [C] so that it does not contact the
exposure glass.
Remove the heater [D] from the fluorescent lamp.
