Using dialog boxes

Many EDM dialog boxes contain editable fields where you can enter parameter values.
Some of those parameters have predetermined values. For example, you can enable or disable
a port.
Other parameter values are ranges of values or user-determined values. For example, the
value for the Location on the Base Unit Info tab is a location name you can choose and
enter.
Editable fields in EDM dialog boxes appear in white.
EDM dialog box buttons
The following table describes buttons that appear in the EDM dialog boxes and tabs. Not all
buttons appear in all dialog boxes.

Fundamentals
Apply the changes you entered in fields on a tab or dialog box.
The button is unavailable until you change a parameter.
Open a dialog box to create a new entry for a table; then, from
the dialog box, insert the new entry in the table.
Delete a selected entry.
Refresh the information in the window. Every time you click
Refresh, the switch pools the system and displays new
information.
Close the tab or dialog box and disregard changes you made
to fields.
Open context-sensitive Online Help.
Stop the current action.
Copy selected items to your computer memory clipboard.
Paste the contents of your computer clipboard.
Undo last action.
Copy data to external media.
Print the contents of any displayed table.
Graph selected data.
