The wiring diagram for the ABS system w i t h EBD only varies from the wiring diagram for the ABS sys-
tem on its o w n through the addition of the connection of the ABS control unit w i t h the braking system
warning light (low brake fluid level/handbrake applied).

Fault d i a g n o s i s
It is possible to search for and identify any faults in the ABS system components by connecing one of
the f o l l o w i n g instruments to the diagnostic socket:
Fiat-Lancia Tester
- S.D.C.-Computerized Diagnostic Station
- Examiner
The ABS system w i t h EBD does not have a blink-code function, as a result of w h i c h the fault diagnosis
can o n l y be carried out using one of the instruments mentioned above.
