Inserting the cable

Make sure that the locking actuator is in the open position. If you are opening the connector, then pull back the
end tabs using equal force to avoid breaking the connector.

Insert the cable on top of the actuator with the contacts facing away from the locking actuator.

Slide the locking actuator toward the connector to lock the cable.
Notes:
•
Do not move the cable while locking the actuator.
• If the cable moves, open the actuator, reposition the cable, and then close the actuator.
