Instrumentation and Controls
• ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED
(engine power is reduced)
Appears when engine power is
being reduced to protect the
engine from damage.
This also can affect the vehicle's
ability to accelerate.
Drive at a reduced speed.
There are several malfunctions
that might trigger this
message.
If this message appears with no
reduction in vehicle perfor-
mance, proceed to your desti-
nation.

The next time the vehicle is
driven, there may be a notice-
able reduction in the vehicle's
performance.
Acceleration and speed may be
reduced.
Have the vehicle serviced as
soon as possible.
• HOOD OPEN (hood open)
Appears if the hood is not
completely closed.
• ICE POSSIBLE DRIVE WITH
CARE (ice possible drive with
care)
Appears when the outside
temperature is cold enough to
create icy road conditions.
Adjust your driving
accordingly.
• LEARN DELAY ACTIVE WAIT
XX MIN (learn delay active
wait XX minutes)
Note: This message may not be
available on all vehicles.
Appears while a keyless access
transmitter is being matched to
the vehicle.

Appears when the left rear
door is open or ajar.
