Child restraints that require the
top strap to be anchored can only
be used in the rear outboard seat-
ing positions. There are no anchor
brackets available for the front
seating positions or the center rear
seating position.
CAUTION
Each bracket is designed to
anchor only one child restraint.
Attaching more than one child
restraint to a single bracket
could cause the anchor to come
loose or even break during a
collision. A child or others may
be injured. To prevent injury to
people and damage to the vehi-
cle, attach only one child
restraint per bracket.
The top strap anchor brackets for
the outboard rear seat positions
are located behind the seats.
To access a bracket, open the trim
cover.
Section 2
Be sure to use an anchor point
located on the same side of the
vehicle as the seating position
where the child restraint will be
placed.
