Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor
Identification Codes
Each sensor has a unique
identification code.
Any time a sensor is replaced or
the tires are rotated, the tire pres-
sure monitor system must be reset
to match the new sensor's identifi-
cation code to its corresponding
tire/wheel position.
NOTE:
Read through all of the
following programming
procedure before you begin
customizing this feature.
Do not allow more than two
minutes to elapse when
matching the first tire or more
than five minutes to complete
the matching procedure for all
four tires. Otherwise you will
have to start the procedure
over.
Section 4
To reset the tire pressure monitor:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition on but do
not start the engine.
3. Press and hold the lock and
unlock buttons on the
transmitter together for
5 seconds.
The horn will sound twice,
indicating the tire matching
process has started.
TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE (tire
learning active) will appear on
the display.
4. Begin with the left front tire.
