■ BATTERY RUNDOWN
PROTECTION
This feature is designed to protect
your vehicle's battery.
Interior Lights
Power to the following lights and
accessories is automatically turned
off 20 minutes after the ignition is
turned off:
• Vanity Mirror Lights
• Cargo Lights
• Reading Lights
• Console Lights
• Glove Box Light
To reset the system, all the listed
lights must be turned off.
Turning the ignition to the
accessory position will also reset
the system.

Exterior Lights
If the manual light control is left on
when the ignition is turned off, the
exterior lights will turn off
automatically after 10 minutes to
keep your battery from draining.
If the lights were left on
intentionally, turn the manual
light control off then back on to
reactivate the exterior lights.
If the manual light control is
turned on after the ignition is
turned to the OFF position, the
exterior lights will not
automatically turn off.
■ ELECTRIC POWER
MANAGEMENT
This system monitors the tempera-
ture and charge status of the vehi-
cle's battery and automatically
adjusts the voltage to enhance
performance and extend battery
life.
You may see the battery voltage
reading fluctuate in the Driver
Information Center display. This is
normal.
If the system senses a problem, a
message will appear on the Driver
Information Center display.

more information.
