AUTOMATIC MODE
In automatic mode, all you have to
do is select a desired temperature
setting.
The system will automatically
control the inside temperature, air
delivery mode and the fan speed
to achieve your set temperature as
quickly as possible.
The air conditioning compressor
turns on as needed.
1. Press
to activate the auto-
matic mode.
An indicator light will turn on.
2. Press the up or down arrows
to adjust the temperature
to a comfortable setting
between 21°C and 27°C.
3. Wait for the system to adjust
the temperature.
It may take from 10 to
30 minutes for the system to
regulate.
4. Readjust the temperature as
needed.
To return the climate control
system to manual mode, manually
adjust the fan speed, temperature
or air delivery mode.
Choosing the warmest or coldest
temperature setting will not cause
the system to heat or cool any
faster.
If the warmest temperature setting
is selected, the system will remain
in manual mode.
Section 1
In cold weather, the system will
delay turning on the fan to avoid
blowing cold air into the vehicle.
The system starts out blowing air
at the floor, but will change the air
delivery mode automatically to
maintain the chosen temperature
setting.
Outside temperature and the
amount of time that has passed
since the vehicle was last driven
affect how quickly the interior
warms up.
In order for the automatic climate
control system to work properly,
be sure not to cover the sensors.
See "Sensors" later in this section.
