Testing SIP trunks

After you create a SIP trunk, you can select the trunk and click Test to see if the trunk works.

To test a SIP trunk
1. Go to Trunks > VoIP > SIP.
2. Select the trunk that you want to test and click Test.
The System Configuration Test page appears.
3. Configure the following:

Forward fax to DID
Some extensions have DID mappings. See
mapping extension
on page
with DID mapping, selecting this option will send the fax to the
DID mapping extension.
This option is only selectable if Automatic fax detection is
selected.
eFax account
Select the fax receiving account for the detected faxes. This
does not include the faxes sent to DID mapping extensions if
you selected Forward fax to DID mapping extension.
Click New to add the phone number provided by your VoIP
service provider. The VoIP service provider SIP server will
direct calls from external callers directly to this number. You
can add multiple numbers.
