Using Tabbed Paper

Using the paper types Letter Tab or A4 Tab, you can print text on
precut tabbed paper or card stock. The protruding portion of the
paper serves as in index in an assembled document.
Tabbed paper sizes are available from the lower drawer or the
bypass feeder. If you are using the lower drawer, you must have
Reverse Order Tabbed Paper. If you are using the bypass feeder,
you must have Forward Order Tabbed Paper. Both support
simplex printing only. You cannot print on both sides of a tabbed
piece of paper.
The copier prints on the protruding tab by shifting the image to
the right a distance that varies depending on the manufacturer of
the paper.
Printing All Output on Tabbed Paper
You can print all output pages on tabbed sheets.
1
Load tabbed paper in the lower drawer or in the bypass
feeder.
If you're using the bypass feeder, place the Forward Order
Tabbed Paper with the tabs toward the trail edge (facing away
from the printer) and the first tabbed sheet on top of the stack.
If you're using the lower drawer, place the Reverse Order
Tabbed Paper with the tabs toward the trail edge guide
(facing to the left) and the first tabbed sheet on top of the
stack.
