7 Enter the IP Address of the LPR-compatible print server.
Add LPR compatible printer dialog box
8 Enter the name of the printer on that server. Click

The port name you entered now appears in the port list and is
selected.
10 Print a test page or document using the printer you just
configured.
Standard TCP/IP Port Setup under the Windows
and XP operating systems
To set up an LPR or Raw port, you assign the port and then assign
the queue name.
Assigning the Port
1 From the Start menu, choose
Printer settings window
2 Right-click the printer for which you want to add or
reconfigure port settings.
3 Choose
Properties
>
Settings
from the short-cut menu.
