Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in premature wear to the engine.
Danger
Danger of poisoning Exhaust gases are poisonous and inhaling them may result
in unconsciousness and/or death.
When running the engine, always make sure there is sufficient ventilation,
and do not start or run the engine in an enclosed space without an effective
exhaust extraction system.
Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
Subsequent work
Check the engine oil level. (

Stand the motorcycle upright on a horizontal surface.
Check the engine oil level. (
Main work
Remove the dipstick
Condition
External temperature: ≥ 0 °C (≥ 32 °F)
Engine oil (SAE 10W/50) (
