If the motorcycle is used in the winter, salt can be expected on the roads. Precautions need to be taken against the aggressive road
salt.
If the vehicle was operated in road salt, clean it with cold water after riding. Warm water intensifies the effects of salt.
After rinsing the motorcycle with a gentle spray of water, allow it to dry thoroughly.

Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency due to wet or dirty brakes.
Clean or dry dirty or wet brakes by riding and braking gently.
After cleaning, ride a short distance until the operating temperature is reached, apply-
ing the brakes as well.
