Removing the Chassis Cover

Removing the Chassis Side Cover
1. Power down the system and unplug the power cord from the power supply as
described in Section 5-1.
2. On the right side rear of the chasses, lift up on the release lever.
3. Slide the cover toward the rear of the chassis then lift off.
Caution: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the cov-
er in place. The chassis cover helps facilitate proper airflow and prevent overheating.
