    Chapter 1: Introduction Chapter 1 Introduction The Supermicro SuperServer 5028D-TN4T, based on the Intel Xeon processor D-1540 (8-Core) System-on-Chip, is well-suited for a network security appliance, a high performance NAS server, with a space-efficient, compact design. Applications include cloud and virtualization, corporate-WINS, DNS, and business critical applications.

Power The main power switch applies or removes primary power from the power supply to the server but maintains standby power. To perform most maintenance tasks, unplug the system to remove all power.
