2. Remove the starter from the housing.
3. Clean the pinion with a clean cloth or paper and grease again.
4. Reassemble the starter and electrical connections.
ATTENTION ! In any case we suggest referring always to a FNM service center to perform these operations.
Joints and splines greasing.
Mercruiser ® stern drives
Lubricate the gimbal bearing (8-10 pumps typical hand operated grease gun)
Lubricate the cardan joints and the o-rings.
Lubrication of the coupling hub of the flexible coupler.
ATTENTION : Follow the stern drive producer instructions for the type of grease to use.
