TO REFILL THE OIL
1) Remove the cap on the oil tank.
2) Refill to the correct level with the specified oil. High Performances Gear Lube type.
3) Replace the cap
ATTENTION! If more than 2fl.oz. (59 ml) of Quicksilver High Performance oil is required to fill up, there could
be a leakage in the system.
In the old MERCRUISER ® stern drive the dipstick is placed directly on the head.
HPEP Engine Stern drive version, verify TRIM oil level. MERCRUISER® stern drive applications
1) Place the stern drive in DOWN position.
2) Remove the cap from tank near the pump.
Fill as necessary with the specified fluid
3)
HPEP engine Stern drive version, verify steering oil level
1) Check the oil level by the marks on the tank.
2) Level should be maintained within the MIN. and MAX. levels.
3) Fill as necessary with the specified fluid.
4) Reposition the cap.
