Take care of the seal gaskets, respect their integrity. In any case, replace them if damaged.

Remove the bundle and clean the pipes with a cleaning brush. Pay attention to the O - rings (2).

After cleaning, re-assemble the assembly, replacing the seals. Heat exchanger cover screws (1)

torque 25-30 Nm.
9. It's necessary to test the exchanger seal after the assembly.
10. Reposition the exchanger on the bracket
11. Reposition the pipes and seal collars.
12. Fill the coolant circuit.
13. Start the engine, let it warm up to 80°C.
14. . Check for any leaks and if necessary drain the circuit from air.
Clean the intercooler tube bundle
1. Stop the engine and let it cool down adequately
2. Drain the circuit by unscrewing the anodes as mentioned above.
3. Unscrew the collars of the sleeves and take them off.
Remove the rear cover (3 TCEI M8 screws). Take care of the gaskets.

Pull off the tube bundle: Pay attention to the fins during the tube bundle dismounting operations,
5.
to not affect the exchanger performances.
6. Clean inside the tubes with a cleaning brush, remove any salt incrustations and wash with fresh
water.
