Tightening torques for threaded junctions, which should be tightened with torques different than those
indicated in the table are indicated near the related pictures.
The tightening torque refers to lightly oiled or dry surfaces. For all the junctions where no tightening
torque is indicated refer to the table below. The screws and nuts are divided into strength classes; the
table applies to standard 8.8 class screws.
Engine-boat interface (connections and optional kit )
Inlet fuel connection hose (hose inner diameter)
Use approved hose for the passage of fuel
Fuel return fuel hose (rubber hose inner diameter). Use approved hose for the
passage of fuel.
Inlet sea water (sea water hose inner diameter). Use only hoses according to
RINA specifications.
Sea water pump flow (Max engine RPM).
Exhaust gas hose inner diameter (gearbox version). Use only approved hose for
the passage of fuel.
Aux pulley diameter (Nominal diameter).
Double groove pulley (Grooves spec.)
Flywheel housing flange.
Flywheel holes (fixed flywheel version).
Air mass sucked by the engine 8.5 mc/min
Battery (Engine battery req.)

Up to 0.9m (3 ft)
0.9 – 1.1m (3 – 3 ¾ ft)
1.1 – 1.4m (3 ¾ – 4 ¾ ft)
