Gently pull the controller cage away from the base of the scanner.
Warning—Potential Damage: Be careful to not damage any cables when pulling the controller cage away from
the base of the scanner.

Slide the flatbed scanner cables through the slot in the scanner base, and remove.

Power supply removal

CAUTION—POTENTIAL INJURY: Before disassembling the scanner, turn the power switch to the OFF position
and remove the power cord from the wall outlet. Disconnect all other cords and cables from the scanner before
proceeding.
