Disconnect the front control panel cover from the right side, and then disconnect the left side.

Remove the front control panel cover.

Note: To prevent damage, lock the flatbed scanner module while performing this repair.

Remove the front control panel cover. See

Stand the scanner up on its rear.
Note: Make sure that the flatbed document cover is secure when standing the scanner up on its rear.
