Paper jams at lever 1a and Knob1c

Open the front cover of the high
capacity tray unit.

Move lever 1a to the rightward and
turn knob 1c to the right. Remove
the jammed paper.

Return lever [1a] to the original
position.

Close the front cover of the high capacity tray unit.
Note
Paper jams at lever 1b

Open the front cover of the high
capacity tray unit.
• If paper is torn, check for any
torn pieces of paper inside the
machine.
• A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the High Capacity Tray
Unit's front cover is even slightly open.
