Turn off the main power switch.
Is the boss for engagement
damaged?
Has the lower roller, tension roller,
or cleaning roller slipped off?
Is the fixing film cut, bent, or torn?
Has the fixing assembly been
used to generate 200,000
copies or more?
Is the releasing lever faulty?
Is the tension spring of the fixing
film detecting lever normal?
Further, does it move smoothly?
Is the fixing film sensor (PS2)
normal?
Turn on the main power, and
reset the error using 'ERROR'
in service mode (*4*). When
the main power turns off auto-
matically thereafter, turn it on
once again, and execute 'FILM
COMEBACK' in service mode
(*4*). Is the operation of the fix-
ing film motor (M5) normal?
