Tail wheel collar
Step 1. Trial fit the rudder on to the vertical fin with the hinges
in place. Locate the tail wheel wire assembly and hold it up to
the fuselage making sure the bottom of the nylon bushing is
flush with the bottom of the horizontal stabilizer. Note where
the wire rests in relation to the rudder. Using a felt-tipped pen,
mark the position where the hole is to be drilled into the rudder.
Also mark the location for the slot where the bushing tab will
be epoxied into the back of the fuselage. This slot should be
positioned centered on the fuselage tail.
Step 2. Remove the rudder from the vertical fin and use a
3/32" drill bit to drill the hole for the tail wheel wire. Drill into
the exact center of the rudder where you marked in Step 1. It may
be helpful to first drill a 1/16" pilot hole as a guide.

Step 3. Cut a slot and groove in the back of the fuselage where

tail wheel bushing.
