Set the wired LAN of the computer.
(For Windows)
Display [Properties] of [Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)] and configure the settings. For details on the display proce-
dure, refer to [Start]
• When "DHCP SERVER" is set to "ENABLE" in the unit settings
Select [Obtain an IP address automatically] and [Obtain DNS server address automatically] on the [General] tab. Select
[Automatic private IP address] on the [Alternate Configuration] tab.
• When "DHCP SERVER" is set to "DISABLE" in the unit settings
Select [Use the following IP address] on the [General] tab.
- [IP address]: Enter the same address as the unit.
- [Subnet mask]: Enter the same value as the unit.
- [Default gateway]: Enter the same address as the unit.
- [Preferred DNS server] and [Alternate DNS server]: There is no need to enter any specific value.
(For Mac OS)
• When "DHCP SERVER" is set to "ENABLE" in the unit settings
[Configure IPv4]: Select [Using DHCP].
[Configure IPv6]: Select [Automatically].
• When "DHCP SERVER" is set to "DISABLE" in the unit settings
[Configure IPv4]: Select [Manually] and enter the values for following items.
- [IP Address]
- [Subnet Mask]
- There is no need to set [Router] so leave it blank.
[Configure IPv6]: Select [Automatically].
Client settings
To transfer clips with the FTP function, you need to set the connection destination and other settings in advance.
Set the settings in the "CLIENT SERVICE" (➝ page 98) menu item.
