Using the Unit Connected to a Network

Network Connection

This unit can connect to a network via wireless LAN, wired LAN, or 4G/LTE.
To use wireless LAN, connect an AJ-WM30 (sold separately) to the [USB3.0 HOST] port.
To use wired LAN, connect a LAN cable to the [LAN] port on the side.
To use 4G/LTE, connect a compatible USB modem (sold separately) to the [USB3.0 HOST] port. For the 4G/LTE USB modems
that can be connected, visit Support Desk on the website. (➝ "Website URL" page 9)
Available Functions
The following functions are available when the unit is connected to a network.
• Checking thumbnail images
• Proxy playback
• Downloading proxy files and clip management information
• Displaying and editing metadata
• Adding and deleting metadata (shot marks and text memos)
• Simple editing of clip playlist using proxy
• Sending and receiving clips with the unit (transferring clips using the FTP client function)
Note:
When 4G/LTE is used, only the function for sending and receiving clips with the unit (transferring clips using the FTP client function) is
available.
