Appendix C: IR Remote Control

The IR remote control is an accessory to enhance the convenient operation of the IP decoder.
You can perform all the settings and operations from the remote control. The effective distance
is up to 33 feet line of sight.
When there is more than one IP decoder installed in the same environment, you need to select
a correct IP decoder ID, preventing the IP decoder from responding to commands from the
Remote Control.
To select the IP decoder ID,
1.
Aim at the IR receiver of your IP decoder.
Press the IP decoder Device Button first.
2.
3.
Select the IP decoder ID number by pressing the Number Button. The IP decoder ID number
here must correspond to the "IR Remote ID" set up in the "I/O Control Menu", and remember
to click Save on that setting page (refer to 5.5.4 I/O Control). For example, if you set up "2" in
the OSD setting page, you need to press "2" on the controller.
4.
Press the OK button to complete the setting and now you can control the IP decoder.
To switch channels,
To select CH1~9, press Number Button 1~9.
To select CH10~16, press the "0" button first to change the Number Button 1~7 as CH10~16,
and then press the Number Button 1~7 to switch to the desired channel. For example, if you
want to select CH11, press "0" first, and then press "2".
