VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

GENERAL
The full 17 digit serial or Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.)
is stamped on the steering head and on an information decal
at the same location.

Figure 2-2.
An abbreviated V.I.N. is stamped on the front
left side of the crankcase.
NOTE
See
Figure 2-3.
Always give the V.I.N. or abbreviated V.I.N.
when ordering parts or making inquiries about your Buell
motorcycle.
