1. Update the Remote Supervisor Adapter II
SlimLine firmware.
2. Replace the Remote Supervisor Adapter II

1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program,
select Load Default Settings, and save the
settings.

system board.

2. Reseat the battery.

in the order shown, restarting the server each

level (see "Updating the firmware" on page 17).

system board.

2. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program,
select Load Default Settings, and save the

3. Update the Remote Supervisor Adapter II
SlimLine firmware (see"Updating the firmware" on
page 17).

system board.
Restart the server and enter the administrator
password; then, run the Configuration/Setup Utility
program and change the power-on password.
1. Make sure that the DIMM is installed correctly
(see "Installing a memory module" on page 85).
2. Replace the DIMM.
3. (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board.
