Hot-swap power supply removal and replacement
Your server comes with two or three hot-swap power supplies. For servers with two
power supplies, you must turn off the server before replacing a power supply. For
servers with three power supplies, you do not need to turn off the server to replace
a hot-swap power supply, but you must replace only one power supply at a time.
Attention:
power supplies are installed. In addition, your server has redundant power capability
only when three power supplies are installed.
If you install or remove a power supply, observe the following precautions.

Never remove the cover on a power supply or any part that has the following label
attached.
Hazardous voltage, current, and energy levels are present inside any component that
has this label attached. There are no serviceable parts inside these components. If you
suspect a problem with one of these parts, contact a service technician.
