4 Getting Started
5. If you wish to use the printer to print a sales journal, insert the paper into the
paper take-up spool. Also see "Print Option Programming" on page 144 to
determine whether the preamble and postamble print on the paper (receipt format
includes preamble and postamble, journal format does not.) Wind the paper two
or three turns around the spool shaft and install the spool in the mount. The
illustration below shows the use of 2-ply carbonless paper, so that both a journal
and receipt are printed.
6. If you wish to use the printer to print customer receipts, pass the paper through
the window of the printer cover and replace the printer cover.
