Basic cleaning programme

New dishes or new glasses usually have a coating of soiling which can be removed using the basic cleaning
programme. The programme can also be used the dishes are coated with starchy deposits for instance.
How to start the basic cleaning programme:
 Enter the PIN menu
 Press the button
 Screen 28 appears.
Basic cleaning programme sequence:
 If the machine is empty and switched off: the tank is filled and heated up.
 If the machine is ready for operation: A little water still flows into the boiler.
 As soon as the machine is ready for operation, the text "Add basic detergent. Press start button"
appears on the screen.
 Open the door and add the basic detergent on the inside of the machine. Adhere to the recommended
dosage.
INFO: The tank capacity is 9.5 litres (machine size S) or 15.3 litres (machine sizes M, L and XL).
 Push the rack with the dishes you wish to clean into the machine.
 Close the door and press the start button.
 The start button lights up blue. Button (2) continues to flash.
 The detergent solution is circulated inside the machine.
 300 seconds are counted down on the screen.
 A pause for drip-drying and the rinse then follow.
 As soon as the basic cleaning programme is completed, button (2) stops flashing and the start button
flashes green.
 Open the door and remove the dishes from the machine.
 Wash further racks or press the back button (3) to exit the menu.
 Press button (2).
 Button (2) flashes.
 The basic cleaning programme runs automatically.
Cancellation is possible by:
 Pressing button (28) or switching off the machine
restart of the basic cleaning programme.
 Opening the machine door
after closing the door, the program continues
automatically.
