This section describes firmware and other general software issues known to exist at
this release of the SPARC Enterprise T5440 server.

some sensor indicators that are not voltage
indicators under the Voltage Indicators heading.
The sensor indicators involved include:

However, the information reported under the
Condition column is accurate and represents
the current condition of the components.
6660556 When BUI is used to enable/disable a
component, the /SYS and /SYS/MB fault states
appear to be one screen refresh behind the actual
state.
6660074 Asymmetric cryptographic performance can be
improved via driver tunable.
6682176 In certain conditions, SP command to power
cycle host might not work as expected.

Workaround
Use the Condition column to assess FRU
condition.
Check for the availability of a patch for this
defect.
Performance can be improved by increasing the
number of ncp driver scheduling threads from
the default. (Default value is 4.) Add the
following line to the /platform/sun4
v/kernel/drv/ncp.conf file:
ncp-threads-per-core=6
If multiple attempts to power cycle the server
fail then you can reset the system controller (SC)
to recover from this condition.
After the SC is reset, SC commands to power
cycle the host will work as expected.
