If you add option cards to your server, refer to the documentation and README files
for each card to determine if additional patches are needed.

Solaris 10 5/08 Recovery DVD

A Solaris OS recovery DVD (Solaris 10 5/08 OS Recovery DVD for SPARC Enterprise
T5440 Server) has been shipped with your server.
The DVD has been provided for recovery purposes in case you reinstall the Solaris
OS.
Note – The Solaris 10 5/08 image on this DVD includes a patched mini-root (Patch
ID 138312-01) which allows the SPARC Enterprise T5440 server to be installed or
booted from DVD. This DVD must be used to re-install Solaris 10 5/08 from the
DVD. The standard Solaris 10 5/08 release will not boot from the DVD drive.
