SIP

G5 panels are available to participate in G4 intercom operations. This includes point to point, and point to multi-point
sessions using the standard ^ICS, ^ICM, and ^ICE commands.


The SIP page (FIG. 32) controls the configuration of settings for Ethernet communication with the touch panel.

from G4.

Custom Ringtones

G5 supports custom ringtones and ringback tones.


Ringtones set in the contacts app are not used by G5 at this time.

Videocom is not available at this time. Skype should be used for video communications.
No configuration is necessary for intercom operation. All config is done via send commands.
Controls connection to the SIP server.
When enabled, the device will attempt to connect to the provide IP address.
SIP will automatically disable the device is unable to connect to the gateway.
Enter the Username/extension for this device.
Enter the User defined password for this user/extension.
Enter the IP port to communicate over. Default is 5060.
To include a custom ringtone, simply add the file ringer_XXX.wav to your TPD project. When G5 receives
an incoming call, it will check if there is a sound ringer_XXX.wav defined in the project and play that as the
ring tone. If no such file exists, then the default ringtone is used.
To use a custom ringback (when making an outgoing call) tone, include the file ringback.wav in your TPD
project.
