6. Product description

The ONLINE ZINTO A series is an uninterruptible power sup-
ply (UPS) in high quality line interactive technology (classifica-
tion VI). It supplies the sensitive devices connected with per-
fect sinusoidal output voltage and protects them against power
failure and voltage fluctuations.
The special product design enables the UPS to be used both
as a tower / vertical device and horizontally in a rack, depend-
ing on customer requirements. It is ideally suited to applica-
tions with only a small area available for installation, for exam-
ple in telecommunications facilities, server rooms, etc.

6.1 Performance features

• Line interactive technology (classification VI) with perfect
sinusoidal output voltage.
• Combined rack / tower design, only 2 height units (HU)
high.
• Extremely long expected service life and low running costs
due to Buck & Boost function and intelligent battery man-
agement. Short voltage fluctuations are bridged without the
battery mode.
• Hot-swap battery: can be replaced in operation.
• Low costs for replacement batteries due to usage of stan-
dardised high quality accumulators.
• Scaleable power backup time with additional batterypacks
(from ZINTO A 1500).
• Overvoltage protection for data & telephone lines.
• Selectable input voltage tolerance. Ideal for operation after
generators or in areas with power of heavily varying quality,
e.g. at railway stations.
• RS-232 and USB interface, as well as floating contacts, slot
for SNMP / UPS network card and emergency power off.
• Self-explanatory and clearly laid out control panel.
