trouble shooting

10.1 Storage

If the batteries are stored in temperate climatic zones, they
should be charged every three months for 1-2 hours. You
should shorten the charging intervals to two months in loca-
tions with higher temperatures.

10.2 Maintenance

The ZINTO A series only requires very little maintenance. To
ensure unrestricted reliability, it is recommended to visually
inspect the battery and fans at regular intervals (6-monthly
cycle). The intervals primarily depend on the local conditions.
ATTENTION:
It is imperative the safety regulations are ob-
served during maintenance work.

10.2.1 Visual inspection

During the visual inspection it is to be checked whether:
• The UPS system is free of mechanical damage or foreign
bodies.
• There are conductive deposits of dirt and dust in the UPS
system.
• Dust deposits are degrading the transfer and dissipation of
heat.
If the UPS is very dusty, it should be carefully cleaned to en-
sure optimal heat transfer.
