1.2.2 Card Thickness Adjustment

This session shows how to adjust the card thickness for taking a card into printer properly.

1. If the hopper cover is closed, please open it.
2. Please check the Hopper Gate is properly
adjusted to your card's thickness.
(Caution! If the adjusted card thickness is
thinner than your card's thickness, SMART-30
can' take a card into printer. If the adjusted card
thickness is thicker than your card's thickness,
several cards may be taken into printer at the
same time and error occur.)

3. For Adjusting card thickness,
please loosen two screws with a
phillips screwdriver, and push up
or down the HOPPER GATE, and
tighten the crews(Fiz.2-10).
(Card Thickness 0.76mm is default)
3. For 0.76mm(30mil) cards, please
push up the HOPPER GATE and
tighten the screws(Fig.2-11)
4. For 0.38mm(15mil) cards, please
push down the HOPPER GATE and
tighten the screws(Fig.2-12)
